If you are inquiring about a pet puppy from one of our litters, please understand that we breed first and foremost to produce the next generation of Show puppies. Show homes (including ours) are very important However Pet homes are First and Foremost a MUST. Because so many people want a Pale English Cream or Red Smooth, Female they can be more difficult to supply; not at all that is doesn't happen, just please do be aware that they are often in the greatest Demand. This being said, you might want to consider a boy (male) as they make equally fantastic (or better in my opinion) pets when they are Neutered. If you simply find that you must have a Female, then consider placing a Pre-Born Deposit. Please keep in mind that our lildoxis will stay here until at least 12 weeks of age.

Regarding Price: The Dachshund is a breed that typically lives 12-20 years; so excluding any unforseen illness, you are buying a lildoxis Companion that will be around for many, many wonderful years to come. Because of the investement  we put into our dogs to ensure their good health, we are not interested in selling them for reduced prices. You may find puppies cheaper elswhere. And quite Honestly, if you are looking for a cheaper puppy and are not interested with their Health/Temperament Guarentees, then you may need to look elswhere. Due to Dishonesty Issues we can no longer accept Paypal as a means of payments and/or deposits.

This all being said, we occasionally have older puppies that we have been holding onto for a variety of reasons. If/When  we decide to sell those puppies (young adults), it is usually at a special price.

Many people do not like the empasis placed on color, but we happen to have fallen head over heals with the excellence of the English Cream Miniature Dachshund. The information contained within this page is that "simply Information" and is not meant to place a "Special" or "Rare" status on color but rather to healp educate puppy people on the temperament and/or qualities of True Type English Cream Miniature Dachshunds. Our primary focus in selecting a Miniature Dachshund for our Breeding program is their confirmation and temperament. Which is why we take Great effort in our selction of our Dams and Sire who are the Future of our Vom Daxi Haus lildoxis. You can always breed color into a line however you must first start with excellent conformation!
CONFORMATION before COLOR!
A true type English Cream miniature dachshund can range anywhere in color from "golden" to a "yellowish" or "strawberry" color blonde. They should always have black noses with the exceptiona of the Chocolate and Creams which is acceptable to have a dilute nose as is in the Chocolate miniature dachshunds. They can have black or self-colored nails and should also have exqusite black eye lines around the eye rims with again the Chocolate exception. Most Creams are of English decent hence the term "English Cream Dachshund" . True English cream will trace back to British Imports which can be viewed on our pedigrees. Cream is a ressesive gene and so both parents must be or carry the cream gene or factor to produce Cream pups.
The term American Cream has come about to describe cream dachshunds who are not of English decent but rather appear to be cream. These dogs may or may not be True English Creams (double ressesive). Some dogs labeled as cream may be ressesive red or "e-red" dachshunds which will darken as they age. True Cream dachshunds (English Creams) get lighter as they age. Check with the breeder of the puppy when in doubt. If a dachshund has the charaterristics above they may be infact a True English Cream. As previously stated the, the ressesive cream factor in the English Cream Dachshunds is what is referred to as a "Double Chinchilla Factor" (also referred to as "double ressesive" or "double dilute" or "EE"). The chincilla factor only acts on the red color, It does not act on the black nor the Chocolate. This is why we often see Black and Cream dachshunds and Chocolate and Cream dachshunds. Dogs reffered to as american cream dachshunds is due to a differnet dilution factor than the chinchilla-factor. Many beleieve that it is the blue dilutuion factor that affects black (for blue) and chocolate (for issabella) and that this dilution will also affect the base coat red. Please understand that we are a show breeding home and opur first goal is always to produce a sound miniature dachshund who is worthy of the show ring. Our puppies will be graded at 12 weeks of age and those that don't measure up to our ideal for show will be offered to a Pet home with a strict spay/neuter agreement. This means that you will not recieve their AKC papers until we have received confirmation that you new lildoxis has been spayed or neutered. Those puppies that we believe to be of top show quality will be sold to bredders who are show homes and agree to our Full AKC terms reguarding breeding. We ask you to understand that we are completely aware of the cost/time/efforts assosciated with show your English Cream Miniature Dachshund to it's finished AKC title as we show regularly ourselves. So with this being said we offer your family an "AKC" champion gift!!. We appreciate your desires to exceed what we have done with our lildoxis!!!!!
